An End To Government Secrecy Over UFOs In The UK?
David Cameron, leader of the British Conservative Tory party has said that if he is elected Prime Minister, he would be “entirely open and frank” regarding the governments knowledge of UFOs and extraterrestrial activity.
In May and again in October of 2008, Britain released a bundle of UFO reports, dating from 1986 to 1992.
I wonder if that, combined with the rash of UFO sighting in the past year in the UK might be ratchetting up pressure in the UK for a more open position from the government about what they know about UFOs.
What kind of pressure would be put on other countries if the UK promised full disclosure on UFO and alien activity?
Speaking at one of his “Cameron Direct” public meetings in Tynemouth, North-East England, he was questioned about a string of recent mysterious incidents (possibly the damage to the wind turbine
in Conisholme, Lincolnshire?)
“I have no idea if there is intelligent life out there. I do believe in freedom of information and openness and this question has been asked from time to time, and I think we should be as open and clear as possible.”
“I don’t think any of us have any clue whether there’s intelligent life out there and it is certainly not something that any Government should seek to hide from anyone.”
