Lights Seen Over West Swindon, UK

Unidentified white lights reported ‘whizzing’ extremely rapidly in the sky over West Swindon, Wiltshire UK on Thursday November 12th at 7 PM.

The report was originally left as a comment on Feb 28th, 2009 post title ‘More Lights Over UK: Castle Eaton, Cricklade, Swindon, and South Cerney’. I email the commenter back for more information.

The weather was described as dry and breezy, but not very windy and not particularly cold. The sky was overcast, dark with patchy clouds.

The UFOs were described as ‘moving extraordinarily fast completely at random’ and were witnessed by several people (the commenter, her husband and son and their neighbors). Estimated height was between 1000 and 2000 feet.

Nothing else unusual or odd was reported that day and by 8 pm the lights had disappeared.

Swindon is about 80 miles west of London.
