Unidentified Floating Object Spotted on Google Earth

A strange object has been spotted on Google Earth near Deception Island in the Antarctic. Deception Island is about 600 miles south of the southern tip of South America.

Theories include that it is rock, a giant squid, a Plesiosaur fin or even the legendary sea monster the Kraken.

Deception Island is approximately 3000 miles from R’lyeh Island, burial spot of H. P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu and near the origin of the mysterious 1997 Bloop event.
