Mothman Back In Point Pleasant

The legendary Mothman is back in Point Pleasant West Virginia!

A man who has asked to remain anonymous snapped a series of photos of a strange creature while driving down State Route 2 on Sunday November 20th, 2016.

Mothman sightings generally come in flaps or bunches, so it will be interesting to see if more reports are made in the following weeks. This sighting comes withing days of the 50th anniversary of the start of the Mothman flap made famous by John Keel that occurred from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15, 1966. If Mothman’s acquaintance Indrid Cold or any Men In Black are also in town is still unknown.
