Ufologist Stan Gordon got the call that a witness had reported a cylinder-shaped UFO hovering just 250 feet above the ground at about 1:30 PM on January 3rd. The man, traveling through the area on business, first saw the object while driving along Donahoe Road. He made a turn down a side road to get a better look at the object and got to approximately 250 feet from the object which he estimated was no more than 250 feet off the ground.
The object was described as “kind of like a hot dog with a fin on the back”. While observing it, the object changed its position. The man reported “when it inverted, and the fin disappeared, it looked like a totally different craft” revealing some sort of windows or ports. He estimated the object to be about 15 to 20 feet in length.
The man was on Donahoe Road, on the opposite side of Route 30 from Greensburg’s Westmoreland Mall near the small community of Bovard, in Westmoreland County, which is located just a few miles from the city of Greensburg.
No other sightings have been reported.
