South African UFO Sighting
Nearly two dozen lights moved steadily in the night-sky over Witbank, South Africa on Friday March 6 2009 and scores of residents saw them and called the police, who filmed the lights on their cellphones.
Police inspectors Chris Gatzonis and Awie Labuschagne of the Middelburg police filmed the lights on their cellphones. The footage can be seen on the Afrikaans-language Beeld newspaper website.
Gatzonis describes the sighting, “We were on active duty and driving across the bridge at Aerorand in Middelburg. First we saw five orange lights, moving in formation going in the direction towards Witbank. Later only two were left. Then the clouds moved in front of them and we lost sight of them”.

About 7:00pm in Evansville,IN.
2 orange ball fly to north.
It last about 30 sec.
Hammond, IN, a glowing orange light appeared far to the east, as it got closer it was very visible, and pretty low. It kind of had a triangular shape with a faint orange/white glow on the bottom.. the lights did not flash… the light drifted for a long, long while at a steady pace west until it disappeared. about 7 of us saw it. We thought it could perhaps be a military or other aircraft heading towards chicago, but it really did not seem to be a conventional aircraft as it got closer.
A bunch of my family and I saw an orange glowing light over Rushford Lake on 7-4-09. It was most definitely not a firework. It seemed pretty high up, moved/hovered very slowly, and was silent. Much of the time it seemed to be stationary. We watched it for at least 20 to 30 minutes! Did anyone else in the area see it?
