Silver Orb Photographed Following British Airforce Plane
A retired school teacher was gardening at 3:45pm on July 22 when he saw a unusual silver orb was following a Hercules military craft as it came in to land at RAF Lyneham.
John Powell, 56, who taught computer sciences in Belfast for 30 years, took the photograph of the object and the plane from his home nearby Westbury.
A Ministry of Defence spokesman dismissed the sighting and claimed they wouldn’t be investigating because it posed no “potential threat”.
