Whales in Space is about exploring the weirdness of aliens, UFOs, exopolitics, cryptozoology, sasquatchploitation, other paranormal fortean phenomenon and ultraterrestrial activities.

The world is much weirder than most want to believe. We track that weird from as many angles as possible. We try to gather the weird into some general categories, but the weird often doesn’t cooperate.

• Unidentified Flying Objects – Not just saucers, ships and cigars, but also Black Balloon Clusters, Atmospheric Beasts and Orange Balls of Light (ORBL). If it is an object, it flies and we don’t know what it is, its an unidentified flying object.
• Bigfoot, Sasquatch and Other Hairy Hominids – Why try to figure out if it was a bigfoot, sasquatch or yeti, when it could have been batchsquatch or dogman. We coined the term Pants Detecting Technology. We were there for the August 15 2008 RickMat/Tom Biscardi Bigfoot press conference and still think Biscardi was framed.
• Just Weird – A lot of this is just… weird. Those are creepy clowns that try to lure children into the woods, the men in black seen in rural Iowa, their occasional spokesman Indrid Cold and often what ever is going on in space.
• Cryptids – With some crossover into Bigfoot, Sasquatch and Other Hairy Hominids and even the Just Weird, this group also contains side stepping gnomes, Chupacabra, Montauk Monster and the North Port Devil.
