Tales Of The White Thing

Since our post, The White Thing – Obion, Tennessee in 2009, several people have added comments, supporting the existence of such a creature.

i am from daysville tn i grew up on storyies about the white thing. My aunt said that one night she herd something outside so she looked the white thing was in the back of her truck playing with a chain. There was also the story an old man who heard somthing in his chicken coop grabbed his gun and went to investigate the white was eating eating his chickens I have also talked to people who has seen in past ten years one boy said that he thought he was the only who ever sa.w it. most people think that it was some thing that escaped from the knoxville zoo

I grew up in TN and my parents have told me a story about a “White Thing” in KY. They said they, and alot of other people, were parked at this clearing and they saw this thing come out of the woods and pick up a near by dumpster and dump out the contents. After they saw it do that, they all left when they saw it do that. I have been told this and they say it’s true. I believe them because they aren’t the kind of people to just lie.

Oddly, the first comment from 2011 says they are from ‘daysville tn’, but I believe Daysville is in Kentucky. Obion Tennessee is about 150 miles west of Daysville Kentucky.

Loch Ness Monster's Cousin Photographed In England

Photo: TOM PICKLES

Tom Pickles, 24, was kayaking on Lake Windermere, about 150 miles south of Glasgow, when he saw several humps pass him in the water as he paddled along.

With his camera phone, he was able to capture some of the best pictures of the Loch Ness Monster’s English cousin, sometimes called “Bownessie”, that have ever been recorded.

This is the 8th reported creature sighting in Lake Windermere in 5 years, England’s largest natural lake. It is a ribbon lake formed in a glacial trough after the retreat of glaciers after the last ice age. The lake has about six square miles of surface area and in over 200 feet deep in areas, compared to Loch Ness at over 28 miles square, but a similar max depth of about 225 feet.

With Loch Ness monster sightings down in the past several years, its good to hear her southern cousin is making an appearance.

Sea Serpent Photographed Off British Coast

On July 27 2010, Gill Pearce spotted a mysterious creature about 30 yards off the Devon coast at Saltern Cove, Paignton. First thought to be a turtle, photographs reveal something that is too long to be anything normally found in those waters.

The creature appears to be a greenish-brown beast with the reptile-like head is far too long for it to be a turtle.

Fish in the area were said to have beached themselves to escape the mysterious creature, very strange behavior for sure.

Saltern Cove, Paignton is about 200 miles south west of London on the southern coast of England on Tor Bay.
